I’m thrilled to have my piece, Winter Trees, featured in an art show focused on CommUNITY at the Events Center in Agoura Hills, California!
The show is open until December 4th. If you’re in the area, come check out the art (and lovely space & views) while grabbing some sweet holiday gifts at the Holiday Boutique Dec 3rd & 4th.
I’ll be there selling my prints, tote bags, greeting cards, candles, journals & more! Come support local artists! More info about the boutique coming soon:)
ABOUT WINTER TREES:
Nature models for us how best to coexist and persevere in challenging times.
We now know that trees share information with each other that’s important for the health of the entire forest. They warn each other of danger and even share water and nutrients with others when faced with severe conditions.
Trees have learned to adapt, survive, and thrive through the extreme stress of winter by slowing down their biological processes and streamlining their energy output.
We humans can take a page out of their book by slowing down, simplifying, and sharing vital information and resources with each other in an effort to care for the wellbeing of the collective, our community.
When facing collective challenges, nature can show us the way if we're willing to pay attention to what she has to teach us.
